Giving Tuesday is a celebration of generosity and community. In Olalla, several nonprofits work year-round to support families, protect nature, rescue animals, and keep our traditions alive. Banner Forest is under threat. Kitsap County is proposing logging in areas of this beloved community forest under the guise of “forest health.” But nature doesn’t need fixing, it needs protecting. Sign the petition to help us stop this plan and preserve Banner Forest for generations to come.

The 2025 Olalla Lavender Festival was a radiant celebration of creativity, community, and the timeless charm of lavender. With nine Gathering Places, dozens of vendors, local lavender farms, musicians, workshops, and the brand-new Olalla × Provence exhibit, our small town came alive in the most extraordinary way.

Olalla is now officially connected to Provence! Our Lavender Festival has formed warm, joyful relationships with two iconic lavender celebrations in France, L’Instant Lavande in Grasse and La Fête de la Lavande in Valensole. A beautiful cross-ocean friendship has begun.

The Olalla Lavender Festival returns for its second joyful edition on July 12–13, 2025, after a heartwarming debut that welcomed over 1,500 visitors in 2024. Rooted in community spirit and nature’s beauty, this growing event continues to blossom with new experiences and deeper connections, both local and international.
